new aircraft

We operate one of the youngest fleets of aircraft in Europe.

To remain efficient and offer our passengers the best experience, we have introduced a total of 40 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft since 2015 - delivery of the new aircraft commenced in March 2015 and concluded in 2017. These aircraft enabled us to launch new services & replace our Airbus A330 aircraft fleet.

We also invested in our narrow body fleet, introducing the Boeing 737-8 in 2017 and from February 2021, ATR 72-500 Regional commuter aircraft to boost connectivity. Both these fleets will start to be overhauled again from 2024.

In 2023 we announced a significant order for new aircraft at the Dubai Air Show.

A total of 15 ATR 72-600 will replace the current older 500 series of the type operated by our regional subsidiary LINKS. Deliveries will commence at the end of April 2024. An additional 5 options are also available for growth in the future.

From Airbus, a total of 30 Airbus A320 neos have been ordered. The aircraft features 180 seats in a 1 class configuration with an impressive range of 3,500 nautical miles. In addition, 10 Airbus A321 neo (LR) have been ordered. These long range versions will have a capacity of 8 Business Class seats and 174 Economy Class seats. The A321 neo LR has a range of 4,000 nautical miles and will be ETOPS certified. The CFM LEAP engine has been selected to power the Airbus neo fleet. Deliveries will commence in December 2024 and an additional 10 options of either type are also available for growth in the future.

We will continue to work hard & invest in new technology, as well as new aircraft to reduce our carbon footprint and protect our environment.
