British Caribbean

In 2001 - BRITISHJET regional subsidary LINKS launched a base at Terrance B Lettsome Airport (Beef Island) in the British Virgin Islands.

The small British overseas Caribbean island airport serves as an important regional hub for passengers commuting by ferry and air to the surrounding islands including the nearby U.S Virgin Islands.

A 2004 constructed new terminal & runway extension opened the door to expansion and increased connectivity for the airport.

LINKS has one of its ATR 72-600 aircraft based on Beef Island, an aircraft that is ideal for inter island commuter services and recognized as the world leader in its class.

Daily services are currently operated to Barbados - with onward connections to the UK with BRITISHJET.

We also operate flights to Grand Turk, Argyle and Piarco (Trinidad) 7 days a week.

Beef Island Airport is connected to the main island of Tortola by the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge. On Airport Car Hire services are available, public taxi services & there is parking for over 150 vehicles adjacent to the terminal.

Frequent inter island Ferry & Water Taxi Services can all be booked at the airport or in advance.

network & timetable

In 2024, BRITISHJET introduced daily flights from the UK to Barbados - with departures from Birmingham, London Stansted & Manchester. As a result, LINKS British Caribbean services have been streamlined to offer new seamless connection possibilities.

We no longer operate flights to Miami via Grand Turk. This is replaced by a daily return flight to Barbados that connects with inbound/outbound BRITISHJET services.

Grand Turk is still served 7 days a week as a standalone destination with a morning departure.

Our popular Port of Spain via Argyle service is also still operated daily

While BRITISHJET does operate direct flights to the UK from Argyle and Port of Spain, on the day connections are currently not possible.
