Airbus A319
The Airbus A319 fleet is operated by our ACMI subsidiary MANX.
The Airbus A319 is a member of the incredibly popular Airbus A320 family. This shorter version of the A320 benefits from added performance, with less weight allowing the aircraft to travel further - even from shorter runways in challenging conditions.
Over 1,450 Airbus A319’s have been delivered since the type was introduced in 1995. MANX operates a 1 class version of the A319 accommodating up to 144 passengers. Newly installed ultra-slim leather seats offer 32” inch of pitch and feature USB charging ports.
Some of our A319 fleet also have performance enhancing Sharklets installed to the wings, increasing lift, reducing drag and the effects of turbulence. This reduces fuel burn whilst also offering a range increase.
On flights operated for BRITISHJET - the normal BRITISHJET service is still offered with Cabin Crew from BRITISHJET or at times alongside MANX Cabin Crew subject to operational requirements.
On flights operated for Islamabad Airways - the operators own service is offered and usually crewed with Islamabad Airways Cabin Crew or at times alongside MANX Cabin Crew subject to operational requirements.
