MALTAJET ACMI - is a Malta based Aircraft Crew Maintenance & Insurance provider and aircraft leasing broker.
It was established in 2023 by BRITISHJET Director of Flight Operations P Barnes with BRITISHJET having a 30% share interest together with business partners - Ronvest International IM Limited.
Between 2023 & September 2026 the business was registered on the Isle of Man. In 2026, a Maltese AOC was acquired and all aircraft transferred to this AOC by October.
MALTAJET provides charter and lease services using aircraft with 144 or 459 seats.
Long-term customers include BRITISHJET, Islamabad Airways & BRITISHJET explorers.
On behalf of BRITISHJET and under a UK Government PSO route, MALTAJET is also responsible for offering weekly services to the remote island of Saint Helena. The flight is operated on an Airbus A319 aircraft.

MANX has commenced the process to apply for and obtain a Maltese AOC to enable to launch of a Maltese subsidiary. This will allow greater client reach, overcome regulatory hurdles and allow MANX to station aircraft in EU countries and recruit more broadly.
The process is expected to be complete by February with MANX transferring at least 2 Airbus A319 to the Maltese register by the end of 2026.

MANX has commenced the proofing and certification processes to acquire a Maltese AOC. A registered office is now established on the island and recruitment for local targeted positions including Crew has started. Maltese authorities are now auditing our current operating, training and business model as part of our certification process. We hope to be transferring our first aircraft onto the Maltese regsiter in late January if all goes well! Registration 9H-MXA will have the honour and is to be named Valetta.

MANX will officially become MALTAJET ACMI on Thursday 01OCT 2026. The MANX name and operator codes will be retired and the Isle of Man offices will be closed. All aircraft will be transferred onto the Maltese AOC and register, with the exception of those currently on long term lease to Islamabad Airways. In addition, any aircraft operating on behalf of BRITISHJET long term will be transferring to the UK register due to legal requirements and in 2027 - will gradually receive the BRITISHJET livery.
MALTAJET has a fleet of A319 and A330 neo aircraft.
The A319 is configured 144 Y, operating with 2 Flight Crew & a minimum of 3 Cabin Crew. The A319 will has an impressive range of up to 3,750 nautical miles.
The Airbus A319 was selected for its impressive performance, low operating costs & to target niche operating capacity needs.
The larger Airbus A330 neo is configured to 459 Y operating with 2 /3 Flight Crew & 10 Cabin Crew. The aircraft has a range of up to 7,200 nautical miles.
Our first Airbus A319 aquisition, VP-CUB seen resting at Hondo - South Texas Regional Airport. It was since flown to the UK on 01APR 2023 for pre service entry maintenance & overhaul.

BRITISHJET - we currently operate a number of flights on behalf of BRITISHJET with our Airbus A319 fleet. We also have an aircraft on standby 24/7 to assist with any operational disruption in the BRITISHJET program.
ISLAMABAD AIRWAYS - is a venture started in 2023 with the baking of BRITISHJET. It operates regular flights connecting Islamabad in Pakistan to the UK. Intially starting with a single A319 leased, MANX now provides 4 Airbus A319 and 4 Airbus A330 on long term lease. Islamabad Airways gained its own AOC in 2024, MANX will continue to provide aircraft and adhoc Crew going forward.
