new aircraft
We operate one of the youngest fleets of aircraft in Europe.
To remain efficient and offer our passengers the best experience, we have introduced a total of 40 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft since 2015 - delivery of the new aircraft commenced in March 2015 and concluded in 2017. These aircraft enabled us to launch new services & replace our Airbus A330 aircraft fleet.
We subsequently replaced our Boeing 757 fleet with the Boeing 737-8 from 2017 and in turn have now commenced an overhaul of our short/mid haul fleet with the arrival of the Airbus A320 neo family since December 2024. This will see the gradual retirment of the Boeing 737 fleet by mid 2026.
We also invested in our regional fleet, introducing the ATR 72-500 from February 2021 to boost connectivity. Starting in 2024, the newer ATR 72-600 series began to arrive with deliveries set to conclude in Spring 2026 - gradually replacing the older 500 series.
This again will cement BRITISHJET as having one of the youngest aircraft fleets in Europe!
