Short haul flights

Short to mid haul haul services will be operated on our Boeing 737-700 and Airbus A321 fleet. These are annotated on the timetable as 73G and 321 - you can find more information about the aircraft used including seat-maps in our fleet section.


travel class options

On short haul flights, an economy only cabin seat & service is available. You can still book Business class tickets - to enjoy additional benefits such as lounge access at participating airprots, a hold luggage allowance & more flexibility. 

Extra space seats on our Boeing 737 and Airbus fleet can be pre-booked for a fee, restrictions apply on extra space seats located adjacent to an emergency exit.

Airbus Shorthaul Cabin

Th Airbus A321 operates on selected intra-european routes & leisure services.

They offer additional capacity over our Boeing 737-700 fleet.

Our Airbus aircraft can accommodate trolley bags in overhead luggage bins and feature comfortable leather seats.

Please note that the 321 all economy class config does not feature seat back tv screens or USB power. These facilities are only installed on the 321X mixed class version on selected routes.


Boeing 737-700 Shorthaul Cabin

The Boeing 737-700 fleet replaced our Airbus A319 fleet between 2016 & 2017.

Our all economy class configured series -700's can accommodate 144 passengers and are used on the majority of our short haul network. The aircraft has impressive performance giving us the option to operate short or medium haul sectors economically. 

The Boeing 737 can accommodate trolley bags in the overhead luggage bins and features comfortable leather seats. Please note that our all economy class configured Boeing 737 '73G' - aircraft do not feature seat-back TV screens or USB power. These additional facilities are only installed on the 73W or 73E mixed class version on selected routes.

the service on board

During the flight, our cabin crew will offer you a wide range of drinks & snacks - available to purchase. On flights scheduled to take less than 1 hour - we offer a menu with a smaller range of products due to the short duration of the flight.

luggage information

All tickets include a 10kg hand luggage allowance, if you are travelling on a Business class ticket - you can also carry a second piece of cabin baggage as well as check in up to 2 hold luggage items - with a total weight of 40kg. Items that can not fit in overhead compartments will be placed in the hold.

Passengers with an economy class ticket can also check in a hold bag for a fee, if you are travelling onwards on another GBAIR flight - a capped baggage fee will apply.
