Flights between Saint Helena and the UK are relaunching.

We are delighted to be reconnecting Saint Helena and London with direct flights starting June 3rd.

Helenair is a new partnership between the British Government, The Saint Helena Governing office and MANX ACMI.

We have chosen London Southend Airport as our new gateway destination in the UK and will operate flights twice weekly.

Our flights will be operating via Accra both to/from Saint Helena but Accra will only be offered as a bookable service to/from London Southend. The anticipated time on the ground in Accra is approximately 45minutes.

Departures from London Southend for Saint Helena will take place on Monday & Friday.

Departures from Saint Helena to London Southend will take place on Tuesday & Saturday.

Our aircraft

Flights will operated by MANX ACMI, on an Airbus A319 jet offering 144 seats in a 1 class economy configuration.

Semi reclined fixed, ultra slim leather seats offer a minimum of 29” pitch and also feature USB charging points for personal electronic devices.

The Airbus A319 aircraft can fly more than 3000 nautical miles, cruising at 35,000ft or more with a speed of more than 500mph.
